The Castlecomer Demesne is managed by The Castlecomer Demesne Company. The Demesne Company is a registered charity that was formed to encourage the rejuvenation of Castlecomer. It has been in existence for 10 years and throughout this period a tireless team of volunteers have been putting together several projects designed to increase the appeal of Castlecomer as a tourist destination. 2005 has been a pivotal year in the development of the demesne where fishing has started in the newly re-opened angling lakes. Ongoing maintenance and upgrading of facilities and walkways and also to startup of a Childrens playground.
