Do you want a fun Christmas experience for your children? Come to Castlecomer Discovery Park to join in all the Santa Clause fun.
Here at Castlecomer Discovery Park, everyone is very busy preparing for the arrival of Santa Clause. This year, Santa will have a new indoor grotto so he can bring many of the home comforts from his house in Lapland. This year also, Santa will be bringing Mrs Clause with him for the first time. She’s heard such great things about Castlecomer that she wants to come and see it for herself.
The children and adults will be treated to a full tour of Santa’s new house with story telling and plenty to see and do. The highlight of course will be meeting and talking to Santa himself.
Santa will arrive on Saturday 5th December and will be there every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas and also on Friday 11th and Friday 18th. Santa Tours will begin every 20 minutes from 11.00am to 5pm weekends and from 4pm to 6pm Fridays and each tour will last approximately one hour.
There will be no photographer on site, so remember to bring your camera if you want to take photographs. Also remember to come early as Santa will be very busy and we will not be able to accommodate families who arrive too late for their own time slot.
If you have the time to spare why not come early or stay around afterwards and try out the outdoor fun in the woodlands. Santa’s reindeer will be in their paddock in the woods eating the Irish grass to make them strong enough to pull Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve. You can also follow the Christmas trail to visit the elves’ workshop up by the lake.
Tours cost €10 per child and €5 per adult. Children will receive a present from Santa and there will be complimentary tea, coffee or mulled wine for the adults.
Entry is by pre-booking only and tickets must be paid for in advance. Credit / Debit card payments can be taken over the phone or cash payments can be taken at the reception desk.
