Comer Ramblers, a group of locals have for the past number of years organised a Hill Walk in aid of various charities. Glendalough Loop, Co. Wicklow which is 1950 feet above sea level was the destination for the latest 8 km three hour hike. The proceeds of the fundraiser €915 was presented to the Carlow-Kilkenny Home Care Team at a function in Dillons, Corner House. Ms. Catherine Quinlan accepted the cheque on behalf of the Home Care Team who continue to do tremendous work across every community throughout both counties. A big thank you goes to all of the wonderful group comprising of both men and women for such a kind deed.
